Stand design and building

The choice of stand building material, i.e. the building system, underlines as usual the irreplaceable look of the stand and complements its architectural design. Every exhibition stand should be of a harmonic effect. Be sure that the stand can:

  • be impressive - without being extravagant
  • be modest - without looking poor
  • attract the visitors - without being intrusive
  • be factual - still not repellent
  • be a show - still not a market

Stand design ..... what variant to choose for its building?

There is no unambiguous recommendation, always take into account what you expect of the exhibition stand, how much money you want to invest, what are your marketing objectives like...

Variant 1 - unpretentious exhibition stand meeting basic presentation demands
The exhibitors who want a simple stand can choose one of the standard variants offered. Thanks to the use of standard elements the prices of stand building are very reasonable.

Variant 2 - simple, practical or, on the other hand, creative exhibition stand
Exhibition systems offer very interesting and attractive stands. In combination with atypical elements a pleasant and attractive stand can be designed.

Variant 3 - focused on firm's image - by using various designs and ideas a unique exhibition stand can be built
Ever more asked-for atypical stands allow to develop imagination, to differentiate from the others and to be of attraction. These building systems enable individual creative demands to be successfully implemented (met).

A graphic design of your stand is of great importance...

Colours used for your stand are of the same importance as the stand design itself as they feature a visual firm's presentation in addition to its trademark or product brand. A colour or a combination of colours acquaint the visitors with your firm and for this reason always adhere to your corporate design.
Information visualization by a colour and graphics are a part of stand design. It is expressed by the mutually complementing factors:

  • graphics - complements the exhibit, a single graphical system is sufficient
  • inscriptions - are often the first information and shall be suitably located and typographically arranged
  • photos and slides - support verbal information and create a special atmosphere if suitably located and illuminated
  • audiovisual media - film, TV, multivision or a PC presentation can enhance stand attraction and contribute to a more intense knowledge of the exhibitor
  • stand colour - colours used are of the same importance as the stand design itself as they feature a visual firm's presentation in addition to its trademark or product brand.

And how to equip the stand?
Every stand, both small or big, has three basic functional parts:

Presentation areas - involving the area for exhibits, information boards, video, demonstrators and events.

  • Discussion rooms - are used for a communication in person, inform on the stand and include a snack bar,
a refreshment area and also a conference room. Adjacent rooms - involve a kitchenette, store, rooms for
    the staff or an office.
  • The ancillary equipment and inventory of the presentation and discussion areas shall harmonize with the
stand design in shape, colours and quality.

Never underestimate stand illumination...
The illumination is a part of the stand concept.

The stand can be lighted uniformly to differentiate it from the often diffusive hall illumination. Stand lighting (its discussion and adjacent areas) and that of the exhibits (presentation areas) shall be different.
A basic creative element enlivening the stand is to make use of the contrasts of light and dark. An effective exhibition area lighting is moreover greatly impressive.
